Boots Haul ♡

As many of you know, I'm from the UK so we don't have many places that sell make-up that's a decent price so the main place I shop for my make-up is Boots which is a drugstore. Over the past month, Boots have had 3 for 2 offers on so I obviously took advantage of that and here we are! So I thought I'd share my purchases with you.

The first thing I bought this month was the Real Techniques take on the beauty blender. I just needed something that quickly blended foundation and did a good job. So I bought it and so far its worth the £5.99 I paid!
On the same trip, I bought the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes waterproof eyeliner as I needed an eyeliner that would line my top lashes and stay all day as I find my eyes are quite sensitive and seem to water a lot. So for £3.99 I thought I'd try it out - so far so good!
Also on that trip, I bought the Maybelline BROWdrama mascara to keep my brows in place as they seem to go all over everyday! Its a real pain but this seems to have kept them in the same place. However the tint in this mascara really isn't a good colour match but for £4.99 I can't complain.

On a separate trip, I bought the rest of the makeup! So, I'll start with foundation. The foundation I bought this week is a new purchase as I just can't seem to find a drugstore foundation that does my skin any good so I thought I'd try out the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and I'm in 'Nude'. This foundation is £8.99 and I've heard so many people talk about it in the past few weeks so I thought I'd try it out for myself!
I also bought the Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara as I've been watching velvetgh0st on youtube a lot and she seems to love it so I thought I'd see what its like.
The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is just a make-up staple for me, I haven't had a week without it for at least a year! So if you're looking for a cheap, high coverage concealer this is the one for you!
Soap & Glory's Supercat eyeliner is always one that is in the limelight and I can now understand why! The actual felt tip is great and gives a lovely precise, long lasting line. The only complaint I have about it is the smell.. its awful!
The Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow Paint pots are something I've always wanted to try but never thought of buying when I had the chance, so I went and bought my first ever paint pot in Permanent Taupe which is such a lovely colour for my eyes as it brings out the red flecks in them.
Another mascara I bought was the Thick & Fast mascara by Soap & Glory, so far I've used it twice and its really let me down. The formula and brush just aren't great and I find even just from one coat they make my eyelashes look spidery!
Going onto lipsticks.. The first lipstick I bought was a Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple. This colour is a very sheer red which can be built up and that why I love it so much! EssieButton was talking about this in one of her lipstick videos and I've been meaning to buy it ever since, and I can see why she loves it too.
My final product that I've bought was the L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Eva's Nude. This again was talked about by velvetgh0st and used in one of her tutorials and the lipstick on her looked lovely. And as we have the same colour toned skin, I thought it would look good on me too - I haven't tried it yet though!

(just a little disclaimer I have bought all of the products mentioned above with my own money and boots points)

Hope you liked this post and sorry I've not put up one in a while, I've just been stressed with revision and exams coming up ~ Charlotte xx
